Good times!!

Wow! Such a fun week! I actually have a few things to blog about! We had such a great Thanksgiving this year! It was also Bryce's birthday on Thanksgiving, so that made for a very busy day! This year was my family's year so we decided to go out! First time we've ever done that but it was so much fun! We went to Marie Calendar's and we didn't cook or clean up. It was awesome! Here are some pics at the restaurant...

Also one of my good friends came in from out of town, so a bunch of my girls got together to go to dinner. These are my friends from beauty school. We got to know each other pretty well spending eight hours every day together for two years. But man we have had some good times! We laughed so hard about weird clients we had in school, the stupid things we did to our hair, and the crazy things we did in general! This is a pic of all of us.

Anyway, good times! So much to be thankful for, it's unbelieveable! We are so so blessed!

So a couple months back, I was able to go back east with my dad and see some of the sights back there. All of my brothers got to go with my dad, so I told him it was my turn. My dad is a big history buff so it was so much fun to go with him. He had such a cool story to go with everything we saw. I know, everyone's not into the whole history thing, so probably just skip this post if you're not. Anyway I flew into Washington D.C. So first we went and saw all of the memorials.

This was the Vietnam memorial. It has all of the soldiers names that were killed in the war on this wall. It also is symbolic. It starts really small with one or two names of people that died, and then the wall gets bigger and bigger as the war went on. Then the wall started getting smaller toward the end of the war.

This is the Lincoln memorial. Way cool! It has Lincoln's most famous speeches engraved on the walls.

You can't see this very well but this is where Martin Luther King Jr. stood and gave his famous speech. It was on the steps of the Lincoln memorial. Who knew?!

This is the Washington monument. This picture was taken from the Lincoln memorial. I guess all of the memorials and the white house make a big T. Did anyone else not know that?

Sorry it's sideways. This is the Iwojima memorial, one of my favorites! Such a cool story. This picture is the most published picture that has ever been printed.

A turtle we found in the road at Gettysburg with my cute dad!

Tomb of the unknown soldier at the Arlington Cemetery. This has a body of an unknown soldier from each war.

Mr. Vernon. George Washington lived it up! He was such a sweet guy. The people begged him to be king and he refused. Where would we be without this humble guy?

Hill Cumorah

Sacred Grove, what an awesome place. I love Joseph Smith!

Niagara Falls. So cool! We even went down on the Maid of the Mist!

Anyway there it is, sorry if that was totally boring! I also got to go to the Smithsonian and the Holocaust museum which was pretty mind blowing! A trip I'll never forget! Thanks Dad!

Wow! It has been awhile! Not too much going on here.  We're just kind of taking it one day at a time. Bryce did get an internship, so we are very excited about that! He has been working so hard and it looks like it finally is going to pay off! We did have a fun Halloween party that was a murder mystery dinner. Then on Halloween we hung out with some friends. I was hoping to watch a scary movie,  so we sent the boys to go rent one and they came back with "The Burbs". Not the scary movie I was thinking but it was pretty funny. Anyway, that's all!

Ok people!! ONE TREE HILL starts this Monday. It's on at eight o'clock! We just watched the season finale to remember what's going on. If you'll remember, Dan got hit by a car, then his little heart buzzer rang which meant that there was a heart ready for him. And Lucas calls someone to ask them to go to Vegas with him to get married! Ooh I can't wait to see who it will be! What do you guys think? Lindsey, Peyton, or Brooke? I'll tell you what, I have NO idea! I would love for it to be Brooke, I have always loved Lucas and Brooke! They are such good friends. It's so cute! But I guess it would be great if it was Peyton too. I just don't think they will do that because that is kind of what everyone thinks. And I hope it's not Lindsey! She drives me crazy! She's so back and forth! Anyway I'll stop babbling. But we get together to watch it every week so let me know if you want to join us!

Ok so seriously you have to watch this video! Ok so I guess John McCain said that all Obama is, is a celebrity so as far as he is concerned, Britney Spears or Paris Hilton would make as good of President as Obama would. Anyway this is Paris' comeback. Paris Hilton talking about politics? Who would of thought?! It's great tho! Check it out and let me know what you think.

Two years!!

Bryce and I just had our two years anniversary on July sixth! Bryce told me we had plans on Saturday night but he said it was a surprise. We got in the car and he took me up to Logan to Firehouse Pizza. I have been craving that place forever! If you haven't been there, you've gotta go there and try their Ph'zookie! Mmm they are so yummy! Instead of turning around and going home, he took me to the Anniversary Inn. It was such a fun surprise! Here are some pics of our room! This is our tub! Most of you know we don't have tub so I really appreciated this!
Our room was called the Imperial Palace so the ceilings were painted like this!
And these are our happy faces! I have such a great husband. He is the best of the best. He makes me so happy! I just hope that over the years I can learn to be as good of a wife as he is of a husband!

Happy 4th!!

We had a great fourth of July! We went down to the Provo parade with my relatives. It was a great parade, big! Our favorite part was the very first of the parade when all of the bikers go by. They started out at parade speed and then they were thinkin they were too cool to go that slow so they started to go faster and faster until they ran into each other. It was hilarious! They were both ok but I thought it served them right! My other favorite was the cute little missionaries. Everyone stood up and cheered for them. It was awesome!
Anyway after that we went and had... of course a barbecue! Then we went up to the Huntsville fireworks with friends! We even brought little Tobster along and he did so good. I just cuddled him tight and he tried to fall asleep. Here is a pic of some fireworks. Bryce was very proud of these pictures so I thought I'd better post one!

We got to go see Kung Fu Panda! It was so dang cute! Go see it if you get a chance!

Every Moment Counts

Yay! Finally a new post. Anyway I watch the Studio 5 show. Does anyone else watch that one? This month, their theme has been "Every Moment Counts". Isn't that the freaking truth? I keep thinking I can't wait until Bryce is done with school, or to own a house, or to have a bath tub! And ya all of those will be very enjoyable but I know we will miss this time of having no kids to worry about or a mortgage, etc. Plus Bryce and my relationship has grown so much as we struggle through these times of poverty. (Ok maybe that was a little bit exaggerated lol) We are so blessed tho. We have so much fun. Lately we have got to go to barbecues, go golfing, canoing, spend time with loved ones, enjoy the weather, and nap! The other night my mom came up to play and her, Bryce, and I got to just sit outside and enjoy the temperature and chat. These are some of my favorite people ever! So I guess it's the little things that count!

Little Homemakers

We are so proud of ourselves! We just planted our
first garden!
Before...

After!

Oh my, I still haven't posted pictures of our trip to Cabo! I couldn't figure out how to make a slide show, so here is a really long list of pictures! Sorry! This one is of Bryce with our "Cabo jar." There ended up being about $500.00 in there!

This is the hotel we stayed in. It is so gorgeous! It's like my favorite part of the whole trip!

This is the pool. That pavilion is a swim up bar where we spent a lot of our time.

This is one "sexy" old man. I'm sure he would be thrilled to know he was posted on the internet in his speedo. Lol

Yes! Water aerobics!

Oh, so cute!!

''V" for Vacation!

A freakin bed on the beach! It does not get any better than that!

CABO LIBRE!!

That's all, mwah!

My boys both got buzzed!!

The goofball with two pedals

Ok, so it has taken me forever to get this pic of Brycer with his bike. He was pretty adamant about me NOT posting a pic of him with his bike but I finally talked him into it. You know how us girls can talk the boys into getting our way. Lol but anyway here it is...

Elder Nelsy

Some of you may remember my cutest little brother ever! He is in Virginia on the miss. Craziest thing ever! He is in Chelsy Lindley's ward out there so small world! Anyway Nelson rides a bike around so Bryce decided he should ride a bike everywhere also. We couldn't afford a new bike so he found the most ancient bike I've ever seen in his parents attic. It's got the skinny tires and the round handles. It's pretty rad! So he had to redo everything on it being the fix it man he is but he did not stop there. He painted yellow and white stripes on it! It is so hilarious to see him on it. I will have to post a pick. It kills me!
